How long does it take to recover from lens replacement surgery?

Recovery after lens replacement surgery is very quick. It usually takes a few days for the eyes to settle.

Usually, patients go back to normal life after a week of the surgery. As I said, the surgery is done through a very small incision, a cut on the edge of the eye, which heals so quickly.

We always advise you not to let water inside the eye for the first week of the operation, but after that, most things you can resume as normal after one week. We advise you to avoid swimming for the first four weeks, and any heavy exercises to be deferred after the first month of the operation.
