Cutting-Edge Diagnostic Equipment and Technology
Our private eye specialists at Eye Clinic London are dedicated to deliver precise and accurate diagnoses.
We have invested in the latest cutting-edge technology, setting a new standard in healthcare excellence. From high-resolution imaging systems to advanced laser technologies, we ensure that every aspect of your eye health is thoroughly examined with the most accuracy. This commitment to cutting-edge equipment allows us to tailor treatment plans with unprecedented detail, providing you with the best possible care for your unique vision requirements.
1. Advanced Imaging Systems:
Revolutionary MS – 39 measures the anterior segment of the eye allowing accurate diagnosis of a wide range of corneal conditions like keratoconus. A must-have when planning laser refractive surgery like LASIK or PRK. And Revo FC OCT with its advanced laser technology to capture cross-section images of the cornea, the drainage system of the eye, and the retina. For diagnosing age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, retinal detachment and others.
2. Precision Ophthalmology with Lenstar LS 900:
Sophisticated technology that measures the shape, the power of the eye’s natural lens, and the thickness of the crystalline lens with great precision. Crucial for calculating correct lens power for cataract surgery or refractive lens replacement.
3. Ultrasonography Expertise:
A/B Scan & Pachymetry is a versatile tool that offers information for precise diagnosis and treatment planning in cornea thickness, precise length of front to back of the eye, and it is able to spot vitreous conditions such as vitreous tumours and haemorrhage. It is a non-invasive procedure, making it suitable for paediatric patients.
4. Antares Topographer:
Corneal mapping, keratoconus monitoring, corneal disease management including Meibomian Gland and Tear Film analysis. It offers Tear Meniscus Measurement, Imaging, and a variety of dry eye reports.
Caring and Pain-Free Treatments
At Eye Clinic London our private eye specialists utilise a range of cutting-edge methods to ensure that you will experience minimal discomfort during procedures. These techniques and technologies are designed to enhance your comfort and improve your overall treatment experience.
One of such methods involves the use of topical anaesthetics – numbing eye drops or ointments applied prior to specific procedures. These help to alleviate any potential discomfort.
For more intricate procedures, advanced technologies like Femtosecond Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery and phacoemulsification are used by our experienced surgeon. These techniques rely on laser energy and ultrasonic vibrations for a gentle approach, reducing the need of manual methods and further minimising discomfort.
Additionally, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and B-scan Ultrasound provide us with detailed images for accurate diagnosis with no invasive and pain-free procedures required.
Overall, these innovations represent a significant leap forward in ensuring that you will receive the highest standard of care while experiencing minimal discomfort.
All the procedures are performed by consultant ophthalmic surgeon Mr Samer Hamada so your eyes will be in safe and caring hands.
