We can tell if you have dry eye disease by asking you some standardized questions about what symptoms you experience. They are usually questions such as “When do you feel your eyes are dry? What exact symptoms do you feel? Do your eyes affect, for example, your reading, your driving? What makes your symptoms worse or better?” So these sorts of questions will guide us to find if you have dry eyes, or if it is another source or another disease.
